Barbra stood at the gates. It was her first day as a guard and she was ready to show everyone what she could do. Her life was not an easy one, despite the comparative luxuries that comes with being a knight's daughter. The fear and persecution that comes with growing up in a city looking as she does tends to outweigh such advantages. Still, her mother was the only advantage she really ever needed, since she took her in as her own. Raised to be noble, Barbra wanted nothing more than to follow her mother's footsteps. Which lead to her joining the town guard as soon as she came of age. The training was grueling and her first assignment was tedious, just standing in front of the front gate, and her peers didn't exactly make her feel welcome, but she knew she'd show them all. Maybe a bandit will be foolish enough to try something to an incoming caravan, maybe some goblins will do their goblin thing, or maybe the lich in the west will make a move and Barbra will be the one to destroy her. All she knew is that she'd show everyone. All the townsfolk her saw her as a monster, she'd show them she could be their protector. Her mother, she'd show her that her faith in her would be rewarded. Herself, well she'd show that she was no dragon, but truly a dragonborn.

A commission I quite enjoyed working on admittedly. This one took me about 36 hours or so to complete, but I think the result was well worth it. Her weapons are a Bastard Sword (AKA "Hand and a Half" Sword), and a Halberd. Go ahead... try to get past her without her allowing your entrance... I dare you. The character herself is based partly on the looks of the Dragonborn of D&D fame, with the emblem on the hilt based on the Riders of Rohan of Lord of the Rings fame. I opted for that since most of the inhabitants of her city are, well, horses.
