Description

The ISA F-15 Eagle is the ISA Air Forces most powerful fighter. Introduced late in the Second World War, the F-15 quickly earned a reputation, not as an Air Superiority Fighter, but as an Air Dominance Fighter. In the last 6 months of the war, ISA F-15As went head to head against the Shenyian Empires J-8s, and J-7s, and scored over 130 kills, to no losses in air to air combat. Although some were lost to SAM sites and AAA, all of the crews that flew the big fighter felt confident in its abilities.

With two engines pumping out over 29,000lbs of thrust a piece in the early models, the 44,500lb fighter is easily able to climb to altitude quickly, tangle with enemy fighters in tight turning dogfights, or destroy bombers with long range AIM-17 Sparrow Missiles.

The fleet was constantly upgraded between the wars, and ultimately, the ISA accepted the F-15E Super Eagle, which the designers consider a quantum leap in both design, and capability. The most notable of the upgrades, are the engines. Two Pratt Jacob F-119-250B Engines deliver almost 10,000lbs more thrust then the original engines, as well as the addition of 3D Thrust Vectoring, and canards means that not only is the aircraft fast, but even more maneuverable. The Fighter is perfectly capable of turning inside even the Angarian Republics SU-47 Black Eagle, something that most fighters have trouble with.

The key aspect of the F-15E, is the addition of low-visibility components, which is strange for ISA designers as stealth technology is generally considered a First-Strike ability. Something that the ISA Military has not been to keen on. On top of this, the F-15Es fire control system, and its new AESA radar, make it able to engage targets without having to fix the radar to the target. The addition of the AIM120 AMRAAM, and its remote-attack fire and forget abilities allow the Super Eagle to engage enemy formations long before their own radars can detect the Eagles.

Despite these long range capabilities, the F-15E still maintains a Flare/CHAFF dispensor, in case of counter attack, and all models of the F-15 have a pair of 30mm M230B Cannons with 650 rounds each for close in dogfights.

The ISA F-15E is slated to remain in service until 2025, despite the addition of the F-22 Raptor to the ISA Air Force.

Loving the design! Resembles the "Active Eagle" and the "Eagle Plus" with the canards. I must ask, has this design been finished yet?
