New price update, art book, and other news

Well, first off, as some of you already know, the new prices for my artwork are now in effect. New commissions (unless they've already been quoted, or pre-ordered) will now be subject to the new commission set up. When commissioning, remember that you'll now have to fill out the new order form as well. I had a few other commissioners test it, and some of the results (2/3) have already been uploaded, and so far the responses to the new forms have been largely positive, but a few people have asked why I'm requiring these new forms to be sent to me before the image is ever started. Well, not to sound like a broken record, but there are two main reasons:

1. So that I have a hard copy of the order I can reference while I'm working on the actual image.
and
2. So that I have something to show the IRS in the unlikely event that they come knocking on my door wanting to know how I'm making my money.

Some of you may not like the reasons, but believe me, I don't like the idea of paying fines I can't afford, or spending time in federal prisons... so... just trust me on this.

Second piece of news, well, many of you will be happy to know that I will NOT be going to the sandbox making 500K/yr... turns out that either the offer expired, or the offer wasn't real (the company however IS real). Either way, no fighting in the deserts of Iraq for me... atleast not yet anyway (I'm still well within draft age after all).

Third piece of news. Alot of you have noticed that I posted a poll asking who would be interested in an artbook should I post one up. And some of you have asked exactly what it's about. Well, it's simple really. The art book will contain a bunch of my art from both here on DA, and on FA, from the last two and a half years or more, basically, all the art I did after I came back from my time in NYC, with a few extra pieces from my time in NY if I feel they're good enough. Obviously, I'm going to be selective about what I put in. Some of the pieces I feel were.... not up to standard won't be included. But, if the piece is good enough, you can bet money it will be in.

When will it be available? I'm not sure, but, I plan to start working on it within the next couple of weeks, and hopefully have it available before the end of the year (hopefully before Christmas). I don't know how much the book will cost yet, as I'm pretty sure something like that can only be determined by whoever publishes it. Just know that whatever it costs, you guys will have some epic art pieces you can have all done by me. Oh, and because I know some people will ask, yes this book WILL contain nude images. So, odds are, it'll only be available to those who are +18.

How will the artwork be arranged? Well, rather then go through by time, I decided I'm going to group the images by commissioner. If someone has less then three total images done by me, they'll be tossed into the 'one offs' section of the book, while personal pieces will be at the front. Don't worry, there will be a table of contents to help navigate.
